FlagArt Monadria organized the first workshop for the Janá?ek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno

The workshop focused on the flag waving and throwing arts took place during weekend 19th and 20th September 2020 in Brno for students of the Janá?ek Academy of Music and Performing Arts. Two days training and teaching for several talented students interested in this noble art. The students were very skilful and succeeded to learn basic flag waving arts. It allowed us to create their first flag show that should have been performed on the 30th Sept. 2020 during JAMU parade on the Moravian square in Brno. Unfortunately the Covid restrictions forced JAMU to cancel this event completely. Anyway, the students were very happy to absolve this workshop and Monadria was proud to teach them this nice art.

General meeting

By the reason of very complicated pandemic situation in 2020 we were forced to cancel the ECF Annual General Meeting to be postponed to 2021. As the pandemic situation was very similar in 2021 and the international personal meeting was not again allowed we decided to organize this event as on-line meeting. The on-line ECF Annual General Meeting passed on the 25th April 2021 at 10 AM.

Flags Under the Stars in Bibbiena (AR), Italy

Each year, the last weekend in July, a small but pleasant flag-wavering group meeting takes place in Bibbiena (AR).

This year it was nothing like the starry sky. Horible rain forced us to move event to a sport hall very quickly.

However, these not ideal conditions did not decreased good feeling and atmosphere. The ECF executives Gerhard Schlaich Vice-President, Stefaan Haesen – 1st Secretary, Ines Schlaich – 1st Treasurer, Pavel Kruba – 2nd Secretary and Ute Klockner – 1st Assessor were also presented.
